„Art of the Mask” training for plastic artists, costume designers, performers on the techniques of the construction of a theatrical mask. The history of mask undergoes an important evolution becoming an amplifier of the expressiveness of the body. In this course Laurent Brizzi will teach participants to build and use their own art mask according to traditional techniques.

During workshops participants will sculpt the shape in clay support, taking dimensions of person’s face, all while using different, easily accessible tools. Afterwards a plaster negative will be poured and reinforced to be used for creation of light mask.

Workshops are free of charge, registration is obligatory.
